Hailing from Rome, Italy Fabrizio Mingarelli is a photographer well worth featuring. His work varies from moments captured throughout Europe, to women, friends, women friends, and a series of self portraits. I was immediately drawn to his Young and Burnt Series and had the opportunity to ask Fabrizio what these images were all about, and his process. He was searching for a way to manipulate colors and photos without photoshop and for the last three years he has been shooting portraits of his subjects with an analog camera.
I started burning portraits and i still prefer burning them, but lately i found interesting burning place’s shades too, I’ve never tried to use landscapes or skylines and it’s not planned for now, but i never say never.
