Perfect for a relaxing Saturday morning spent beneath the sheets…Rhye’s recent release of their first EP ‘The Fall’ has us drooling for more. Set to release their first full album in 2013, Rhye’s euphoric, sexually charged piano rhythms and lyrics lend beautifully to the their sound, evoking a sense of loneliness and pure sensuality. Having recently been compared to the likes of Sade and perhaps a more subdued Hercules and Love Affair, Rhye is still largely unknown to the world at large and with also little known about the duo themselves, Rhye has created a buzz around their work that lends beautifully to their mystery.
“The intention behind that is, however, rooted in the fact that we just want people to have their own experience with the music we have created, with no real preconceived notions..I kind of like it—it feels much more humble and true to the music we have created. I have never been into making music for the glory or fame, so this is perfectly fitting for us.”
