Giacaomo Bufarini goes by the name RUN. He is a London based Italian artist.
They say: Born in Ancona, Bufarini began painting abandoned walls in Bologna and Florence in the late 1990s under the pseudonym ‘RUN’. Working as RUN within the Italian underground scene, Bufarini and his fellow collaborators catalysed the European street art movement, effecting a renaissance of muralism.
I say: This artist is incredible and his art breaks out of a traditional canvas presentation. He sculpts and paints and his work reminds me of hanging out in a French Cirque Du Soleil Mask Maker’s studio if you were a small doll.
Go see the show, the opening is Saturday September 26, 2015 at the Howard Griffin Gallery in downtown LA.
