When Richie Davis emailed me telling me he was leaving 7-Artist Management, I was surprised at first, but when I saw where he was going my excitement spiraled me into a deep study of Brad’s work and how incredible the creative future for these cats looks.
Brad Elterman has been shooting since he was 16, and in 1977 he had his first photo published, his subject was Bob Dylan. Brad has since photographed pop culture for Creem, Circus, Rolling Stone, People Magazine, Muzeik Express, Photo Foto, Pop and many more. His photography is raw and punctual. His subjects are left to create their own narrative, Brad doesn’t use heavy retouching, or layers of lights. His photos feel honest and journalistic yet show a deep understanding of traditional fashion editorial.
Now back to Richie. He has joined Brad as his manager and creative director. Richie is a light in the city of LA and beyond. His passion for collaboration, fashion, creativity, and the depiction of beauty of all kinds is inspiring beyond measure. These two together are going to create so much beautiful shit, we are in for a serious treat.
