Our friend Erik Derman is of the creative, adventurous and sharing type. It’s only fitting that he video-chronicles his journeys and then edits them in such a leisurely and welcoming fashion that we feel like we are going on a trip with him. In this three-part series titled Mexcellent Adventures Erik teams up with Cyrus Sutton to put together a great traveling and surfing duo that encounter a supporting cast of characters along the way. They are really able to re-invent the surf film adventures pioneered in the 60’s that were a reason for the explosive growth of surfing and why we will always have a strong relationship with the ocean and traveling.
