“Do you want to keep going?” I say to my co-pilot Zac as we approach the turn to his house, the setting sun taunting me with it’s beauty on my left and comfortable suburbia on the right. Zac agrees that there is no rush, no hurry. He’s right. We get caught up in our bubbles and all of a sudden we forget to stop and smell the roses. I’m certainly guilty of it. Living on the coast in Southern California, we are so blessed with beauty and perspective. It is ridiculous. Yet, often we take that right turn and head home because it’s the ‘easy’ thing to do. This time we didn’t…and I’m glad we chose left. So, listen UP and don’t forget to turn left sometimes.
