LA based Lord Huron is a new obsession after seeing them play with Tennis last month. With an upbringing in Michigan, Ben Schneider gives a nod to Lake Huron and the power of the Great Lakes as a big inspiration to much of this musical project. This video for The Stranger off of LH’s Migthy EP is a perfect example of his ability to marry visual story with song. The song itself is a layered and flowing sound of indie folk rock, the more I listen the more my ears pick up.
